. Опубликовано: 6 июл 2017. Welcome back! We look at the relevancy of the state quarter program and review the pricing on this quite plentiful coin that shook the hobby back to prominence. And why are examples beginning to sell in the $1,000 range?

Is it time to search for the nicer coins? 3 месяца назад I started collecting State Quarters in hope that later on in life I can sell them or pass them down. Take a good look at these coins, they are very detailed and some have a lot of open field space just waiting for scratches and dents. I can see everyone 20 years or more down the road wishing they would have obtained in the past when the coins were nice and clean. Also if you compare a single states mintage number to previous decades they really didn't make nearly as much, especially the Territory coins.

Program

The Guam coin shown in the video, they made 87.6 million total. 4 месяца назад +1 THEY HAD TO PAY XXTRA 4 PENNYS SO HOW THEY MAKE MONEY HAND OVER FIST YOUR OTHER VID, SAID BLA BLA BLA THERE IN DEBT, NOW U SAY BLA BLA BLA,JUST WHY, WHAT IS YOUR HITCH,WITH THE VID, CAN SOMEONE TELL ME, OR DOSE BLUE JUST LIKE TO RAMBULE,ON AN ON AN ON THE MONKEY HEAR THE MONKEY DO PROGRAM,THE TRIX TO COLLECTING IS NEVER BUY A COIN THAT YOU PLAN ON GETING WHAT YOU PAID 4 IT,THAT BEING SAID NEVER SPEND MORE THAN YOU WOULD TIP YOUR FOOD SERVER,THEN YOU WILL COME OUT ON TOP.THATS IF YOU LIKE TO EAT! 9 месяцев назад +3 The biggest problem is trying to figure out which of these coins are worth sending in for grading.

Us Mint Quarters Program

I mean you might have gotten bank rolls of these quarters and you might think that because they are in a bank roll, they all should grade out as a MS 67 or 68 or even an MS 70,since they are straight from the mint. However the coins in the rolls were not handled with kid gloves.

They were banged around other coins as well as the coin rolling machines. So the odds of finding a high MS state are harder than you think. 10 месяцев назад a couple days ago i was looking on Ebay and somebody had state quarters up for.99 cents and i saw the DC coin, so i looked at the listing and zoomed in and i could see the DD on the 'ELL' on the piano. I have enough coins laying around as it is.what ever happened to interest in the older varieties? I can't even find them online.like there was one having to do with the tree on the Connecticut coin, or when one of them came out without a date of statehood, the Nevada pooping horse, etc.usually you hear about the extra tree in Minnesota, the Wisconsin leaf, the windows on Bonners Ferry and the Homestead coins (ho-hum).it would be nice to see all the varieties listed somewhere, or at least revisited. I think a lot got neglected because they came out so fast. They were kinda fun errors, though.

10 месяцев назад Hello. I am a fairly new subscriber go your channel.

I am also new to collecting coins. I have metal detecting for years and most of my coins that I have stored came out of the ground. I recently only started coin roll hunting and looking through my pocket change. Is there a link or video that can detail how coins are graded? I would hate to pay to have a coin graded and it come back with a low grade. I would like to know what the grading companies look at for each type of coin (pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, etc) to give it a good grade.

Mint

Also, most of my coins I pull from the ground are very dirty. Is there recommendations for cleaning that will not ruin grading scores? 10 месяцев назад RetroHabit82 I decided to collect my state quarters without buying them.

It took me 5 years, but I collected the entire collection of Philadelphia and Denver mints. The only and last coin I eventually bought was American Samoa Denver mint. State quarters is what actually got me into collecting coins period. I still remember my good old friend that helped me sort through all my coins 7 years ago. I probably should've bought the territorial coins, cause it took me a year and a half to get those.

Anyway, I hope you find the quarters you're looking for!
